NMLS is a free service for consumers to confirm that the financial-services company or professional with whom they wish to conduct business is authorized to conduct business in their state.

- Private Mortgage Insurance (PMI)
PMI plays an important role in the mortgage industry by protecting a lender against loss if a borrower defaults on a loan and by enabling borrowers with less cash to have greater access to homeownership. PMI makes it possible for the borrowers to buy a residential home with as little as 5 percent to 10 percent down payment. You can buy a home now without waiting years to save for a larger down payment. PMI also applies to homeowners who are interested in refinancing their existing loan with a loan amount over 80% of the current property value. Annamarie has been working with me for several months to enable me to obtain a very complicated mortgage refinance. There were many, many obstacles that had to be overcome in order to proceed with the loan. I could not have found anyone that was more thorough, patient and knowledgeable than Annamarie.
She explained in detail banking, real estate and mortgage procedures that have never been explained to me in the past. She explained everything in easy-to-understand language, told me why she was doing what she was doing and why it was in my best interest.
